Because the shirt is the attention grabber, it’s best to keep everything else relatively
uninteresting – which is not to say boring. Everything else should be about easy colours,
soft-spoken hues, but rich textures. Colours should refer to those of the shirt;
their hue ought to be subdued in comparison; and the use of texture is where
the rest of the ensemble establishes visual harmony and interest.
